Are you like me, hesitant to try new authors but once you find one you like, you can't get enough? I can only think of two books I picked up off the shelf in the last 20 years. Everything else I've read has been recommended by someone I know personally, except for Octavia Butler. Orson Scott Card recommended her on his website, and since I love his work, I was willing to give her a try. OMG! I love her stuff!!! I wonder how many other awesome authors out there I've never heard about.
