Here are all of the changes in the various patches.

  • can now add another 3 skills/components to each use slot, so for example can now fire 4 different weapons from a left mouse click

  • fixed left clicking to use a component that you don't have enough energy for repeatly giving out of energy warning/sound (Excellion)
  • now won't use any energy if use marines on a ship with shields or a non-ship target (Excellion)
  • no longer get multiple buzzes for a warning that is already displaying on the screen
  • fixed ancient marines not working (Jean)
  • now if you hold down the ctrl key when selling a stack of components with the space bar it will sell the entire stack (kerzainuhamster9)
  • karma stuff now ignores primitive races (Eris Shrugged)
  • doubled XP reward from anomaly that gives XP (Eris Shrugged)
  • now add icon to highlight text for race icon, race portrait, and race traits
  • now mention Tweaked Find Chance bonus on each achievement achieved
  • can no longer sell technology component itself (Eris Shrugged)
  • can now put non-weapons into the first use slot (Eris Shrugged)
  • fixed system ensuring unique system names not working correctly (Annex/kerzain)
  • fixed swapping 2 same type items numbers increasing each time (Alstein/floofyfunster)
  • removed ancient info from lose progress screen (Bluddy)
  • removed bounty hunter info from lose progress screen
  • removed Drox quests from win/lose progress screens
  • moved fear/legend info on win progress screen down a little to fit stuff better
  • increased size of reset fog of war button to fit text better (Sharp)
  • now speed with current/next hull stuff takes into account gravity reductions (Eris Shrugged)
  • added system name to guard, destroy, and help our planet messages (Eris Shrugged)
  • now health bars of planets/ships from races you have a mutual protection pact or alliance with are dark green
  • fixed consumables in left or right click slots playing sound when used but reuse timer not up yet (ScrObot)
  • no longer show technology price on component (not really meant to sell component)
  • fixed planet status menu layout to fit everything (ScrObot)
  • added Exit All button to many of the relation screens (Varkon)

  • federation members will now always vote no for wars against subjects/overlords

  • fixed not being able to attack ships after destroying their planet (kouhei/pandk9/Sideswipe)
  • decreased ProtectorateMaxPowerRatio from 0.75 to 0.25

  • no longer get "Declare war on..." option for protectorates and vassals since they aren't allowed to declare war (Excellion)
  • fixed some paid to go to war messages when no war started (Excellion)
  • now makes sure war is going to go through before announcing honors treaty by declaring war (Excellion)
  • should no longer get repeated attacking planet messages (Darkness)
  • can now get relations with ancients up to the normal maximum relation (100) (Lichice)
  • now races won't declare wars on races they've recently discovered (phoenix_54d)
  • increased chances of first 3 cargo bays dropping (HoboElf)
  • ancients are now treated like other races when it comes to getting legend points (will make legend wins harder)

  • made radar much more useful by increasing MaxRadarRange from 300.0 to 1000.0
  • now an undiscovered planet in radar range will show on the edge of your minimap
  • now all planets in radar range will show up on system map
  • planets and gates now have a radar bonus so it's easier to find them
  • added Simplify Race Statements option, defaults to on, basically simple race statements go directly to event messages instead of needing player to go to the race screen
  • fixed federation always voting no on peace even when they wanted it (Sharp)
  • fixed another federation voting issue basically making it need to be unanimous
  • races in federation are now allowed to cancel treaties (Sharp)
  • greatly increased identifing components time (4x faster)
  • increased scanning chest/objects time (2x faster)
  • increased ItemIdentifyExtraModifierChance from 0.05 to 0.1
  • asteroids system modifier now has a minimum level of 10 (ScrObot)
  • illusions system modifier now has a minimum level of 10 (ScrObot)
  • added descriptions to Vassal, Tributary, and Protectorates on trade screen (ScrObot)
  • increased beam damage by 50% since the damage now decreases by distance quite a bit
  • components no longer compare to empty slots (so don't get green + on everything)
  • ancients are initially a little less aggressive towards the player
  • decreased TributaryMaxPowerRatio from 0.85 to 0.5 (Bluddy)
  • decreased VassalMaxPowerRatio from 0.75 to 0.4 (Bluddy)
  • decreased VassalFearMult and TributaryFearMult from 0.5 to 0.3 (Bluddy)
  • now ships around planets will fly back to their planet instead of teleporting (They Live)
  • now get a message if a peace trety was rejected by a federation (kouhei)
  • increased starting MaxPowerLoad by 33% (75 to 100)
  • now race specific components auto equip into the correct slots
  • now on level up you can be given any of your race specific components (not just crew) (KevinC)
  • primitives are no longer consider for diplomatic and military wins or losses
  • now if you sign a peace treay with one federation member the rest will follow (they already voted to allow it)
  • alliances and federations tend to get stronger over time now
  • decreased ancients NaturalHateMult from 3.0 to 2.0 (their relations will degrade slower)
  • decreased ObjectChancePerBlock from 0.06 to 0.045
  • changed priority level on most quests (Sharp)
  • no longer get a chest for each primitive race in fear & diplomatic wins
  • fixed numbers on offensive and defensive rams displayed incorrectly (they are addition/subtraction, not a % chance)
  • fixed defensive numbers on rams not showing up
  • now rams actually have a credit value
  • gates now always send across the network when you are in the same system
  • increased RadarForMaxRangeBase from 300.0 to 400.0
  • now planet sub-screens will go away when you click outside of them (ScrObot)
  • drones can be put into stashes now
  • tab now toggles between system & sector map and doesn't change minimap, also setting now saves correctly (Bluddy)

  • added show trades option on relation screen
  • relation screen now defaults to hiding eliminated races (one time force change)
