Crash in 1.034 - empire split
 
I just had a crash when the Scavengers split off an Infection world. Here's the thread stack.

On a related note, should most of the rest of the Scavenger empire have disappeared (obviously it worked fine when I reloaded the save)? One other world went Infection and the rest vanished.

No, you send end up with a bunch of Infection planets.
