I'm playing Din's Curse again (1.029) and have spotted some minor bugs. I thought I would accumulate them here until the next time Steven feels like doing a patch.
Somebody trapped the town and I couldn't find the evidence anywhere. It turned out to be directly under one of the stashes. There was a graphics glitch, I think, or I never would have seen it.
One of my builds is a Defender/Sorcerer. I have Lightning on the right mouse button. When I'm holding down the mouse button and poke a hot key for one of the other skills, I get about 10 copies of the concentration icon.
The Defender's Gut skill works on cave-ins.
It would be nice if the Sorcerer's Ball Lightning would prioritize monsters over doors and barrels.
I don't know if this is a bug, but it was rather peculiar.
I was working on my last quest: Kill WarChant the Dark Elf before he builds a weather machine.
Then it said:
You win! Town saved.
There was no explanation. It just said 'failed'. I would expect to have a consequence for failing the quest, like the weather machine appearing, but nothing happened.
I don't mind winning :) but it was rather strange.
I'm guessing that a monster killed him or something so it "failed", but since he was killed the machine wasn't built.
My stealthed Trickster was trying to ambush some monsters, but several barrels were blocking the hallway. So she smashed the barrels, and then continued on to catch the monsters unawares.
(Smashing barrels should probably deactivate Stealth, especially if there are monsters in the immediate vicinity.)
