quest xp problem
 

I had just completed one of the main quests on the third difficulty level, where 3 snakes has to be killed. Quest display said I was going to get about 161 000 xp for it (quest was more than 10 levels higher then my char), but when I reported my success, I got only about 10 000 xp.

That's strange. Did you happen to go up a level or something at the same time?

There could be an XP debt from death.

There was no death penalty, and I expected to raise about two levels from that amount of XP, but the 10k was not enugh even for one level then.

I have version ...13 (latest official patch on Steam) and a mod with

HardGoalEachLevel 1.2

It seems to be quest dependent. I did not have similar problem, until in a new game I did the 3 snake quest again. I did not skip it because it had a promising 55k xp displayed. Then I got about 5k in the end.

Hmm, that is strange. I'll look into it. Is it a kill 3 normal monsters quest or a kill 3 unique monsters quest?

It is in the main quest line, title is "Kill Shankar's Lute Kef'ah". 3 unique monster has to be killed: Lishlot, Ridit, Ovlad.
