Suggestion: Clans right by each other
 

Just created a new region and two clans that were side-by-side did not know each other. It's kind of ridiculous because I entered one's town by way of the other's town. I was able to trade contact between them for some gold too. My suggestion is that clans who are direct neighbours should know each other from the start of the game, or at least after X amount of time (to prevent early raids).
