The End of the Universe
 

... and so, after many days of exploration within the vast world of Drox Operative, while on the run from a group of Lashers and Trympanos
(obviously cloaked, but I knew they were there because my railgun rounds kept crashing into them), I quite accidentally crossed the final frontier:
The very edge of the universe!

Of course, we all know there are an infinite number of universes. There's probably a Universe Lane nearby. If you click on it you'll enter a new universe where you will be named an Ox Droperative. ;)

You were right! Shortly after crossing over into the next universe, I already made contact with one of the "alternate" races.
The Brutopians are actually a bunch of friendly fellows, contrary to what their name would lead one to believe.

On a more serious note, I always expected the system backgrounds to infinitely repeat themselves.
