I too wish all of the Ancients' ships were big, bad and armed to the teeth, just like their quest monster equivalents, maybe even with a race-specific special ability that is completely overpowered....

[Typo] Missing keys for IotA difficulty options
On the Select Ship screen, the Options Key is missing keys for the IotA difficulty options, Bare Bones and No Life.
Speaking of No Life; do Utopians count as "organic" crew members for that purpose?

[Bug] Chip socket doesn't get filled (edit)
I've used a +10% max damage chip on a socketed Fusion Mine component; the mod got added to the list and the mines' max damage was adjusted, but it still says the chip socket is empty.
