Default New story - Frozen Crystal

We have posted another story called Frozen Crystal. In this story Drel and Lulan are searching for Helaque's treasure as they often do, but what they find surprises even them.

The stories are cool (very cool even) but time spent reading them is time spent not playing the game!

Still they're good enough to draw me away from the game, I guess it counts for something.

Keep up the good work!

Is there an order to the Drel and Lulan stories?

Now that I think of it, Looking Red actually happens before the others, I just wrote it last. :-/ Still, if you read it last, I think it could be better, because you'll already have a sense of who they are.

Is it possible that future patches could add more tomes? I love the stories so much. They provide a restful break from all the action. I really like collecting them in strange orders. Pieces of information fall together at weird times and there are so many "ohhhhhhh of course!" moments. My favorite story so far is Zombie Deadfall, good psychological thriller, . Anyway, I would really love if more and more tomes were added to the DP world. Especially since the material is already there....

I think everything I worte for the game is in the game. I'd have to check with Steven to be sure. Also, most of them are up on the website (but not all of them).

I'm itching to write more stories for the Depths of Peril world, but the problem is that I want to write stories of what happens after the 4th war. Crazy stuff! I should just suck it up and take a step back in time. Stop thinking about what's next.

I love Zombie Deadfall! Steven and I wre talking about the different kind of zombies and how it'd be cool to show them in a short story. Also, Steven wanted Turen to be a mini-boss, which didn't make sense to me being that he was tied to Ciglio's will. He loved killing, and without having to struggle against it, he seemed fairly independent. I began to think about what he would do if he wanted to be free of Ciglio, and Zombie Deadfall was born.
