What do campfires do? Also, there are those braziers that you can turn on and off in dungeons. Do they do anything else I'm not aware of?

Just flavor. Someone once mentioned using the braziers like breadcrumbs in dungeons to help kep track of where she'd been.

Not only not enough to matter, but the light sources in dungeons can make them a pain to navigate.
