Default Drox beta patch 0.907

Beta Patch 0.907 of Drox Operative is available over on the Drox Operative patch page. Changes can be read here. This patch gives the player more information about the internals of the races, fixes an end game issue, greatly increases the rewards of destroying race ships and planets, and fixes a lot of other little things.

Definitely appreciate being able to see a little more under the hood with the 4X elements! I think exposing these and potentially being able to affect them a little more directly will really help in making this game unique.

Bug: You can still accept (and complete) a colonize quest where a medium component is involved without actually having an open slot. See: http://www.soldak.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5326

I am still finding navigation cumbersome. Is there any plan in the future to give the player more waypoints to use per system or to add automatic waypoints for things like stargates and worm holes?

Also, a question: what does the "Donation" box do in the race trade screen?
Yes, I still have some more waypoint plans.

If you put a component in the donation slot, you will basically be giving it to them for free.

I saw an odd sequence of events in the message log that didn't really match what I was seeing. I'm not sure if it's a bug or not but it didn't seem correct. (=

In a sector with the default settings started in .906 and patched to .907, I started in a Fringe-occupied system, and they're the only race I've been in contact with so far. I know Drakk are somewhere across the galaxy, as they've destroyed other races, but I have not yet come across them yet.

I'm flying around in system Jab, where I had recently colonized planet Zeptium. The colony was destroyed by a monster, then "captured" by Talon. I went to the unguarded planet, declared war on Talon and quickly destroyed the planet. However, the log shows that Drakk destroyed Talon, not Drox Operatives. There are no Drakk planets in this system (nor the neighboring systems), and haven't seen any Drakk ships flying around. I have not had contact with Drakk, and they're not on the relations screen yet. So I don't think this has anything to do with them firing a shot on the planet or something.

It just isn't awesome enough for a first impression, so we are planning on removing it.
