this char do good for me even though it really hard to kill mass mob. nice regeneration and crit help me in kill mass mob. 1hit KO for normal mob and 3-5 hit for boss. any suggestion is good to improve this char

The class is cool and the character is good. I wouldnt recommend anything unless it gets too heavy. There is one defense that you might want to consider-the blessing aura that paladins get. That will help much more than healing as it will make it harder to be hit in the first place. A little health isnt bad either and you can have both i think. If you find that you dont like too many mobs, add some points into deathblow for area of effect madness.

You will find that as you get higher in level, not getting hit is much better than absorbing it, unless you are a gladiator with focus armor.

woa nice information u got there friend, and i think would do that cause still got 35point left and it help to strengthen my defense. and i still hope on finding crit jewelry that will boost my crit.. hope will find soon

Hailing from Sosaria, poor Hannes-Erich hasn't had a terribly impressive run of things in Aleria. But I've resisted the urge to start over, opting to learn from my mistakes. Started playing last night. Just kind of jumped into the game (I'm sure I'm not the first), so I haven't read the whole manual yet, or looked through all of Pixel Lord's beginner's guide. Stay active on the forums!!! Im new to the game too, and the forums are pretty inactive, we can share war stories, I'll post my first character on here tonight, I just picked up Demon War yesterday, Mine is a lvl 36 (I think) Defender/Trickster, which I read recently you dont want to mele with a character like this.

Im using Gouge and Strength points and I seem to be killing fast enough, so I think its working so far I'll post his stats hopefully tonight.

Good to see another new player though

Looking forward to it. Level 36?! You're really tearing through it! After losing my first town (fairly quickly), I chose the "slower pace" option for my second town's set up. Beforehand it just seemed like I would make the tiniest progress on some quest before another uprising or another invasion had to be dealt with. Maybe I've played one too many slower-paced MMOs over the past few years, I don't know. But things in Din's Curse seemed insane. Don't get me wrong, the dynamic under/over-world relationship is appealing, very appealing. The slower pace, though, is allowing me to attend more carefully to my townspeople's needs, giving them gear and stuff.

I'd expect a few new faces to show up, with the deal on Gamers Gate going on.

Dang I totally forgot to post my character lol, I went to bed early last night.

Yeah I dont mind the pacing as much, but I turned on the casual mode where they wont invade the town. And early on I always set it to slow pace because of inventory space and the fact that I am new, I have to spend a lot of time agonizing over the stats of items, reading skills, and figuring stuff out, so having the pace too fast I was basically burning through the dungeons to stop the quests from failing, and leaving a lot of items on the ground, because I didnt have time to sell them all before reading what they did lol.

Now I sell items based on value, so if something is less than 1GP of value, its an automatic sale, I dont have to waste time reading it, plus I have more inventory space.

On my first day playing, I was SO close to turning off town invasions after my first town went up in flames. I was frustrated, but at the same time, I didn't want Din's Curse to play out like Fate or Torchlight (two games I enjoyed immensely, but which aren't dynamic at all). I'm not what you'd call a hardcore gamer, but I feel like "real consequences" are Din's Curse's strongest and most unique factor. I wanted a way to experience that without tearing my hair out. If you saw my "Can you arm town NPCs?" thread, that was me trying to find out if there was some way I could prepare for a town invasion and minimize the dangers.

The answer was YES, with Demon War and the ability to arm the townspeople, Slowest Pace, and Dangerous Monsters turned on (yes, ON), which creates smaller, more manageable spawns. Often times, with Slowest Pace, I'm able to stop an invasion before it starts. Slowest Pace also makes invasions very rare to begin with.

And yep, more time for examining my finds is good; I started my second character last night, so I plan to take advantage of the shared stash.
