Can't move by clicking on the ground

I bought Din's Curse a few a few days ago, after it was available on steam, and played a few towns with a friend. It was all great, this game is wonderful.

But when we wanted to play today, I noticed that I couldn't move my character. Clicking on an object to interact with it moves me to it, but that's it, I can't move by clicking on the ground.

I tried the following things:
- SP and MP game;
- New Character;
- enabling/disabling the CTRL toggle;
- clicking while pressing CTRL (I can't move to interact when pressing CTRL);
- Verify game cache in Steam;
- reinstalling the game;
- removing the User.cfg;
- Rebooting the computer.

Any idea of what is going wrong? Thanks in advance.

The last time I saw something like this, one of the hotkeys had accidentally been remapped to the left mouse button which confused everything. Deleting the user.cfg fixed that though.

You could rename your user directory just to see if it will work correctly after that.

I managed to get it to work again by disabling the desktop composition in the compatibility settings of the executable.

That's strange, I've never heard of Windows desktop composition stuff getting in the way. I wonder why it would give you a problem after playing for a while. Well I'm glad that you got it working again.

False joy, it stopped working again... It seems like it was a coincidence.

Renaming the User directory didn't help neither.

It just occurred to me that there are 2 user directories. Make sure you renamed the one at C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\DinsCurse\User

Yes, that's the one I renamed.

Update:

The game works normally when windowed, but I would prefer to play full-screen if possible to fix this problem. May it be related to me having two screens?

I have a 2 screen setup also and it works fine for me, so it shouldn't be just that.
