So, quest drop not dropping

Is there any workaround for this? I tried declining the quest and accepting it again, as well as restarting the session.

It actually affects two quests that involve the same drop (Goblin something-something whiskers), on two different levels - non-optional quests where I'm supposed to cure petrified people.

They should be dropping every time I kill one of those goblins (unlike some other quests where "high quality" drops are needed so they drop only once in a while). I've killed a few on both levels and they're not dropping at all.

Do I just have to let the town be destroyed to get forward with this character?

Sorry, it wasn't a bug. Either the items dropped infrequently or I confused two different types of fire throwing goblins.

I should have known there were no show stopper bugs left in this game!
