I haven't changed the max level.

There are a lot of new quests that are aimed at higher levels.

Survived the Demon War would be cool. I don't how I would reward such a thing though.

Since Jewelry is so rare, and it seems that big things -- saving a town or gaining a rep level -- provide an item based gift, how about an amulet or pin?

Demon War Survivor Pin
Awarded to [Insert character name] on
[Insert Date of when demon war ended]

Bonuses for the pin ideally would be class specific. Or perhaps a standard "ultimate gift", something like the Stone of Jordan from Diablo II (+1 to all skills with invested skill points), but not so good it's unbalancing.

Wicked! Any DRM?

Anyway I like the idea of the demon invasion mode. I hope it isn't a one-off thing though. A similar comparison would be town invasions, which I really like, but I thought they were quite one-off events. They don't feel dynamic enough, and often feel a bit like the usual "go into dungeon to kill monster" quest, except "dungeon" is replaced with "town". I don't know how feasible it is to expand upon this based on the game engine's limitations, so it's probably inappropriate for me to make specific suggestions, but it would be nice to see these town events broadened to include more dilemmas and choices.

(of course the same can also be said for just about any quest in the game lol)

Slaps forehead. My son told me he saw it in Frys, Sacramento CA 2 weeks ago and I forgot to mention it!

Any chance the expansion is still being considered to increase the max level for monsters, characters and bonuses found on items? This would be most awesome.

I'm still deciding if I want to change anything related to the max level.

What will rampage mode be like? Will it be like those old dynasty warriors games where you try and protect someone or something for a certain period of time. This is very interesting.

Probably a bit random (and not that productive for a first post) but I wanted to chime in here and say that I love it when games increase the max level.

Even if all levels over 99 (or is it 100?) only gave some sort of minimal improvement (+1 permanent HP or something), but at least still let you have that feeling of progression.

These types of games always seem to miss out on the potential to explore "ultra-extreme-super-high-level-to-the-max" adventures and content, by forcing us to retire our characters around this arbitrary "max level" concept.

Is it so wrong that I want to fight a level 160 Saurian mage with my level 151 rogue? IS IT?

I know that it's not really that simple, and that there's nothing "arbitrary" about game balance; I just love to level up.

I'll be quiet now. Keep up the good work, Shadow!
