I didn't think that was a glitch? I've experienced multiple teleport stone quests in the original game (without Orc Schism). I see it as a boon, especially for Hardcore characters. What I do is find the obsidian but don't turn in or 'solve' the quest until after I have used my teleport stone. Then as soon as I port into town, I solve the quest and the teleport stone is immediately replenished.

Anyway, I thought the occurrence of the teleport stone quest was related to game pacing, not just to teleport stone usage?

I've had a reoccurring glitch in Orc Schism when rescuing NPCs. They can change name and species!
It's pretty funny. I saw a lovely damsel in distress and gallantly rescued her. Next thing I know, she's got a new name and is roaming my town dressed as a stalker or an imp.
I think when he/she/it died though, she reverted to her original (pre-rescue) name in the log.

I've also had a newly-recruited NPC leave town due to unhappiness within a couple of minutes (real time) of being recruited. I didn't get a chance to get back to town to see how he was fitting in before he left.
It'd be nice to have a minimum amount of time pass before they can leave.
Or maybe a minimum happiness value so that they won't leave that quickly?
