Can't find database.dbll

I keep getting an error message stating "Couldn't find Database/database.dbll". I can't even download the game, and I can't get a new copy of it. Please, will someone help me with this problem?

This is the message that you get when the game can't find the assets correctly. It usually means that you are not running the executable from the Depths of Peril directory, the zips files aren't in the assets directory, the zip files are corrupted somehow, or you've modded something and done something wrong.

I need to download the game again, but it won't allow me to download the full version of the game. Can you help me with this problem?
