Default 0.917 Map Issues

Just bought this game today and I already have some issues with the minimap.

1. I'm playing the game at 1920x1080 fullscreen and the planets in the minimap are stretched out and fat.

2. Marking the relative locations of portals INSIDE the minimap is incredibly confusing. It would be much better to have their relative position displayed outside the minimap circle until it's actually within range of the map itself, ala. Grand Theft Auto.

3. With no real terrain to orient yourself, it's easy to get lost even after consulting the map in this game. It would be great to add the ability to mark waypoints on the map screen and then get a marker to your waypoints on the minimap.

That's all so far.

That's already in. Just right-click on the map screen

If it's just the planets only that are stretched, it's because they are images laid flat on a plane viewed at 45 degrees making them look ovoid. Maybe this can be changed before the beta ends?

A sidenote about the map, it would be useful if your ship was an arrow, indicating direction, rather than a circular blob.

This will be fixed in the next build (patch).

You can do this (view the large map, right click to set points) -- however, it would be really neat if there were a hot key to set a point where you are right now (say * on the numpad? or | on the keyboard?). You can't right-click on the map on your exact location -- it doesn't work.

I like that idea.
