Default Marines and multiple quest item drops

I have noticed that sometimes when I use a marine to kill a monster that drops a part needed for a quest, I get multiple copies of the part. Is this intended behavior? If so, it's pretty nice when you get something like 14 parts needed....

I STILL haven't ever had a Marine drop... I still haven't gotten to try them out...

Huh, I see them all the time. If nothing else, try making friends with the Drakk to get more crew drops.

It wasn't originally intended, but I kind of like how it works.

Same here, but I sometimes wonder just how many livers some of those monsters have.

Hey, those 'monsters' are living ships that have been designed by sentients. (OK, by the Dryads, who have the crappiest ships, but still)

I have no problem with them having redundant systems.

Lol

I will have to try that with the Marine. Got a Fringe Marine atm that is really good. They work great on race ships as well, if you can slip one past the shields, and drop heaps of lootz.
