Default Modelling and texturing

Hello, looking to take a stab at making some models and textures in Drox, but having trouble tracking down 3D studio max for the specific version range it specifies in the SDK.

Are versions beyond 8 supported? Also will Max open up existing models so I can take a peek at how they are sized and formatted and things?

And finally, will Drox support unfiltered textures if I wanted to say, do low resolutions and have distinct pixels not be filtered? (Pixel art-esque/PS1 era aesthetic)

I think there is an exporter for Max 9 in the SDK. I believe it works with some higher Max versions, but I not sure if it works with the latest or not.

We don't have any models shipped with the game that are loadable by Max. We just ship the converted data.

You can turn off MipMaps and/or filtering in the shader.
