Crew rarities

There are "tweaked" and "rare" crew members, but I was wondering whether there are any elite, "artifact" or even legendary crew members, too.
If there are, just how rare are they, given that crew is (from my experience) one of the rarest drops in the game. Do they have unique names, like elite and legendary monsters?

Also, I suggest naming crew member rarity levels differently; common and uncommon ones should be Experts, rare and very rare ones Veterans (analogous to the monster levels).

There should be higher rarity crew, although until this latest build there wasn't enough modifiers for crew to actually get to artifact or legendary levels. They won't have unique names like the monsters.

Really like that they have modifiers now. Also, the droids that give no skill boosts, do they still level up, and if so, do they acquire skill boosts or do the modifiers get augmented?

Drones don't gain levels, at least mine never did. That's what Drones are about;
they start out with good stats and don't need payment since they'll never become unhappy,
but in turn, they don't get any better at what they do.
