Looks like all of the rebel factions will be playable in the next Drox 2 build. They are also getting a trait overhaul so they are more unique and have an actual reason why the rebelled.

There are over 50 new space anomalies going into Drox Operatives 2 in the next patch. Several of these are more variety type things, but many are dangers that will trigger when you get too close, and some even provide bonuses that will last the rest of the sector.
