Game closes after entering license key

I bought Din's Curse off gamers gate.com, and the pc version unlocked fine, but when I try to launch the Mac version, it asks for me serial key, and when I paste it in and hit okay, the program just closes. I'm certain I have the right key. I have no firewall up. Is there any way I can access my game?

EDIT: I got the serial keys entered, but now whenever I try to start the game up I get a message: Couldn't find base BaseModifierEgoEnemy referenced in ModifierEgoEnemyExp1-1

EDIT: I installed patch 1029 but now I get the critical error: Couldn't find base MusicBase referenced in MusicDemonWalker

Just gonna give up for now unless I can get a response, thanks.

It sounds like something isn't installed correctly, like you have the expansion installed but not the base game or they are installed to 2 different places.
