Steam keys?

Were Steam keys ever issued or offered to those who purchased the game direct before it was on Steam?

They were never issued, but if you send me an email from the address that you bought the game from us with, I can probably get you a steam key. You can find my email address on our contact page.

Oh cool, that's good to hear!

I got DoP from the Indie Royale bundle, so I already have a steam key, and I'm loving the game, but I just recently found out about Din's Curse and played the demo of that. It's even better than DoP and I was thinking of buying it, but I was hoping it would come out on Steam sometime so maybe I'd wait for that before buying it.

However, it would be an immediate buy for me now if I know that I can get a Steam key for it from you later if Valve ever lets it in.

I'm always hesitant to answer that question because if we got thousands of requests it would be painful, but in the past I've always given a Steam key to people that have purchased games directly through us and asked for one.

That sounds reasonable.
I understand you can't make any promises, and there's no guarantee that it'll ever get onto Steam anyway so I may as well just buy it directly from you now.
