Default Crashing

My husband started playing Drox again on Friday or Saturday, after updating to the latest patch. It has crashed half a dozen times since then. He's running the Mac version.

He hasn't noticed anything in particular that triggers it and will try to get some more info next time he gets the "App has failed" message.

Any suggestions?

I'll do some play testing on my Mac and see if I can reproduce the problem. If it is limited to one particular character though, a save game might be useful.

Default Crash report

Don't know if this is helpful, but I'm seeing some crashing as well (just preordered & downloaded today). I notice that the thread that apparently caused the crash seems to have something to do with audio, and the audio did drop out not too long before the crash.

I'd attach the crash report, but it's too large.

Since the crash issue I'm having is clearly sound-related (in addition to the crash report indications, I got some serious popping & crackling the last couple times it happened), I tried turning down the sound sliders that were maxed by default. I've only played a couple hours since then, but I haven't had a crash in that time. I'll be sure to let you know if this holds up.

Just got lucky for a little while - we're back to crashing regularly.

Crashes are way down in patch 0.932 versus 0.930, but still happening occasionally. I'd say roughly every two to three hours, versus several times an hour. I think it has something to do with the music but am not sure yet. I'm trying turning the music off.
