Possible bug? Trap type

I often see this, does it mean that my character doesn't know what type of trap it is? Is it perhaps a bug?

Hmm, my guess is one of the trap types doesn't have a name. I'll track it down.

I think it might be Caltrops (at least).

I encountered this again today and it was Caltrops when I popped the trap. I guess it's possible that there might be others though. I'll keep a look out.

I triggered one like that that turned out to be Magma.

What's a Magma trap do?

Magma from a trap will basically end up being a DOT.

Ok, so what does the Oil trap do? I have tripped a few of these and nothing seems to happen.

If it worked correctly it would just slow you down for a bit, but I suspect it doesn't work correctly since it's not really meant to be a trap on an object.

Yeah, I have seen these on chests and doors.
