Default Drox beta patch 1.026

Beta Patch 1.026 of Drox Operative is available over on the Drox Operative patch page. Changes can be read here. This patch adds a new difficulty level, polishes a bunch of things, and fixes a bunch of minor issues.

"increased Geomagnetic Storm reuse time from 3.0 to 5.0
decreased Pulsar per leve damage from 25.0/35.0 to 17.5/27.5"
& Borg happens to use both of these & my Main the Geomagnetic Storm...

*Adds to my To-Do List to fish for a replacement weapon for Borg's Pulsar Generator.*

You forgot to list at least one of the changes: Races no longer give away contact frequencies for free.

By the way, this has to be the one single patch that I have enjoyed the most in my life as a gamer. It opens a whole new level of challenge...

My only regret is that I never got a Command Zero ship to level 100. Both my current ships died yesterday, when I played them while being way too tired.

Now Command Zero attempts will wait until I win a few level 200 sectors. Or until I lose all of my level 100 ships, whatever comes first.

Awesome!!! I like the idea of increased difficulty a lot. curious to see what people think of it once people get to testing it.

yea i just hope people don't freak when they get to say... level 150 with their build and it's impossible to go any further. I like idea of fighting mobs higher then you and seeing how far you can go. but i've also seen some games that have done this and people start complaining "waahh i can't get to 200, this is impossible, this is unfun! make it possible to beat level 200 mobs!" etc. etc. And hopefully people don't fee like they gota do the ultimate build now.. experiment and see where you end up instead and don't worry about if other people do better i say...
