Depths of Peril has another review over on Twenty Sided that is split into 3 parts: first impressions (includes a funny comic), gameplay, and final thoughts. Here's a quote:
This isn’t just something thrown together by fans who wanted “Diablo, but with more better graphics”, this is a step forward for a genre that has been running in place for a decade.

In my opinion, one of the most insightful yet humorous reviews that I've read to date. Eloquently written, it is both critical and informative without being at all judgemental. And I for one, vote for the guillotine expansion

Seconded.
![]() Gotta keep those people in line. Though, a duct tape expansion might be entertaining as well. Tie them up and deposit them in front of Turren, 15 minutes later get a quest to kill a 'unique' zombie with their name on it. ![]()

Certainly one of the best reviews out there. At last someone who does not complain about the lack of multiplayer!
I kinda had the same problem that he relates about the difficulty of clicking the lifestone when allies are gathered around it but that's when I learned to click the covenant health bar instead of of the stone itself. Though he edited his review to add this later.

I recently started reading his blog (through another source) and have found it's generally agreeable. A bit ranty about DRM 'features' at times. Often, actually. But generally agreeable. Good press for DoP too, though I couldn't say how high profile his blog is.
