French translation

I have decided to translate Kivi, that I enjoy so much.

Here is the present state of the translation :

I have some technical problems translating : some of the translated terms don't appear. For example "Jarre" appears as "BreakabkJarr".
Or the descrition doesn't appear, but you see "Desc". Can someoone help me ?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. What is the line in the localization file? What actually shows up?

BTW, one of the most common problems in translating is accidentally removing or adding an extra ". When that happens the parser gets confused and does strange things.

Maybe I could send you the global file so that you could try it. Some terms I translated don't appear. For example the sound options'descriptions.

I checked the global file, and found that I had forgoten one ".
The problem is solved for the graphical options. Thank you ! I hope I will find the other missing ".

If you use a comedian, use one with an "international accent".

I haven't found one yet. Maybe I will take my uncle, who is not a comedian, but is quite good at reading and has no particular accent (certainly not the "parisien" one !).

Shadow, I am really sorry to bother you again, but I made a HUUUUGE update -including massive corrections - of all my French translations.

1/ Could you put the new version of Kivi's French mod on the site ?
2/ Could you put Demon War's French mod (http://www.soldak.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4222) on the site too ? (I have to make some more tests with Din's Curse vanilla French mod and translate some more tomes as for Depths).
I would deeply appreciate that.
