I'm starting to add Social Stratification, Alien Attitude, and Military Stance traits to every race in Drox 2. It is interesting figuring out which version of each of these traits our already established races should get (especially the subraces).

Would you be willing to post a short demo video to youtube of how the faster movement and firing mechanics of your current build work?

An interesting side effect of moving a lot of stuff into Social Stratification, Alien Attitude, Military Stance, and Lifeform Type is I don't know which races in Drox 2 like or dislike each other anymore.

There are now random races in Drox 2. My favorites so far: the Tok (plant based & radical militaristic) and the Gulupus (insect & slavers).

Today I'm adding a way to generate random icons for the random races in Drox 2. So far I think they look way cooler than the icons used for the random clans in Din's Legacy and Orc Schism.

My new favorite random race in Drox 2 is called Ok. Their name was just slightly amusing until I looked at their lifeform type, Disease, and then I couldn't stop laughing.

Now each of the races in Drox 2 prefers different types of planets, so which planets they fight over, which ones they will ignore, and who has the advantage because of the specific mix of planets in the area will be much more interesting.

Today I started making planets more interesting for the player by adding anomalies to them. Often these will give the discoverer an immediate benefit and the race that colonizes the planet a long term benefit.

I added a bunch of atmospheric planet anomalies to Drox 2 today, like Strong Magnetic Field, Long Growing Season, Violent Storms, and Gorgeous Sunsets.
