Well I hope the new game will be a more full out RPG, maybe a really fleshed out Din's Curse world.

I think I have read that Steven always had an interest in developing a true RPG game. More in the lines of Avernum or Eschalon but with something like the Din's engine, that would be incredible.
I know that would be a ton of work, but if I'm going to guess I'm guessing big

My first official hint about our next game is that we have already accidentally given a bunch of hints in tweets, forum posts, and blogs.

My bet is that it is either a turn-based RPG or a strategy game. Or an RPG/strategy hybrid? We know this much: you're not going to alienate the DoP or Din's audiences, so it will be something with deep game play and procedurally generated content. I suspect that it is highly unlikely that it is another action RPG.

It's gonna be a cooking sim set in a runaway truck that roams an open world randomly populated by rival feline factions. Not sure how to cram MOO in there though...

Its going to be a plants vs. zombies type game, or not. Either way, i think it might be something like KU because that would make sense.

Just thinking of the possibilities for future games is exciting. Some thing like DoP 2 with random towns, even more dynamic quests, world modifiers, and multiplayer would just rock.

Actually, with Kivi getting much attention these days (the post-mortem) and the way it's regarded by Soldak, it may very well be that the next game is Kivi done right. So to say. I still think MOO has something to do with it though...

Shouldn't we put this guessing stuff in it's own thread, so we don't pollute the tweets too much?
