I really like Depths of Peril. It makes a nice change from all the childishly easy Diablo clones this genre is noted for. I have a question about the experience debt applied upon respawning.

Does the debt only apply to combat experience or does it cut into your quest rewards as well? I haven't really thought about it whilst playing but it strikes me that it might be more advantageous in terms of experience yields to fight off your debt before claiming quest rewards.

It should apply to any kind of experience you get.
