(bug report) Missing model causes critical error in vs. 1.1011

Another clan was raiding my base and game crashed. Had a dialogue pop up that read:

"critical file Models/Effects/smokeScreenGreen.mdl not found!"

I verified my local files through steam and everything passes. When I reload the game it falls into the same scenario.

I was able to use the same character and move to another area and continue play but not in the area this error occured in.

That's strange that file should be in Assets/assets004.zip

Wow, ancient history, but I had a hard drive that was dying and once I replaced and reinstalled, everything worked fine.
