(bug report) Missing model causes critical error in vs. 1.1011

Another clan was raiding my base and game crashed. Had a dialogue pop up that read:

"critical file Models/Effects/smokeScreenGreen.mdl not found!"

I verified my local files through steam and everything passes. When I reload the game it falls into the same scenario.

I was able to use the same character and move to another area and continue play but not in the area this error occured in.
