Lots of cool monster changes coming to the next Din's Legacy patch: more items use, setting objects on fire, destroying support beams, using doors, new vulnerabilities, fire weapons, and many more.

Hopefully these are done sparingly, by only a few monsters? Otherwise all the dynamic fun will be had by the monsters

They are indeed limited to certain monsters for each of those things.

Borrowing an idea from Pocketwatch, who I think do the 'small dev' think pretty well, you may want to start streaming some of your development work, either on twitch or on youtube. For example, see this. There's obviously no requirement to do it regularly, but it helps build up a community -- I think people enjoy this kind of stuff, and potentially interacting with you in real time (you'd only need to check chat once in a while). Otherwise, you're just doing your work, and anyone who happens to wander in and see what you're up to may become interested in your games. I think also presenting yourself, whether you want to do video or not, is good, because it makes people see the person behind the company, which engages positive brain circuits in the audience.

I also think a discord server would be good, or perhaps migrating your forum to discourse. At this point, the old forum software is a bit of a turn-off since it lacks features and looks different. For reference, pocketwatch games doesn't have a forum and just does the discord thing, whereas Snapshot games (Julian Gallop's company) have both a discord server and use discourse for a forum.

It's Spring Break for the kids and everyone but me has been sick, so this is going to be a weird week.

I get way too much spam since my email address is relatively public, but at least some of the spam I get is amusing, here's a quote: "I'm is very good programmer..."

It looks like the Warmaster, Steward, and Apothecary town roles are coming to Din's Legacy in the next build.
