I've done a few rounds of bandwidth optimization now for Din's Champion. This last one I've managed to get my town from sending ~1,200 bytes per message down to under 300 bytes per message. I'm pretty happy with that.

I'm down to 34 things on my Din's Champion to-do list before adding more testers. Two weeks ago it was at 64 and two weeks before that it was 106. We are getting there!

I have finally made it so that in Din's Champion you can craft items using materials that are in nearby chests. It's one of those things that I have meant to do the entire time, I just hadn't gotten to it yet.

We aren't really close to launching a Steam page or anything, but since I'm probably going to use Steam for the next round of testing, I started setting up all of the Steam stuff for Din's Champion today.

I just have a handful of things to do before starting more extensive alpha testing on Din's Champion. Hmm, should I work on extending alpha testing this weekend or work on taxes?

I did another optimization run on Din's Champion this weekend. I still need to do more work on this, but I made some good optimizations on the minimip, loading, and networking (single player and multiplayer).

I believe I have all of the tax stuff done, so I can focus on Din's Champion again.

I updated all of the current help topics today for Din's Champion. I did not realize how much of it I would need to rewrite from our last game.

I've added a few more testers for alpha testing Din's Champion and now I'm back to my to-do list growing faster than I can fix things.
