I'm not positive this will stay, but right now in the Drox Operative expansion, races can actually go extinct in a galaxy.

I didn't really mean to, but the last couple days I've been working on Drox Operative 1.007: lots of bug fixes and a map improvement.

Ive been away from real time rpgs for about 2 years, instead playing turn based rpgs. It was a lot of fun, but now Im back to the grind

Its been a while since I've played these games, I must admit. Shadow, is there any plans for the future of your rpgs or for right now will you just be working on Drox?

Im only asking because I'd like to see another Dins or Dop sometime. Or even if Dop is too risky to go after for a sequel, maybe an expansion?

Right now we are working on a Drox expansion, but after that I really have no idea what we'll work on.

Hey shadow, I was going to ask you about this. Seeing as Dins recently got a patch that made things better. Whats the chance of us seeing a patch for some of the recent things that made Dins better except having it for Depths of Peril?

I was thinking it would make things better for depths of peril and at the same time, be a good thing to do for you if you decide to make another stab at DOP after Drox's Expansion.

I was thinking they would be minor things that make the game better like the following-

-Disarm traps for rogue class giving experience
-spirit giving more resistance (like Dins) making a viable choice for sinking points in priest skills
-The game showing deep wounds bonus from dexterity points and strength showing crushing blow chance from strength points.
-Rogue caltrops doing light damage like in dins
-Rogue 30 second buffs being linked making it easier like in dins.
-Priests being able to use swords like in dins (this is useful as swords are better than maces)

Is this possible to do while working on the Expansion for Drox or is this too much of a distraction? I was only asking as I rarely see anything on this great game and seeing as its such a gem, it might be good to do to make future work easier and have less to do in case of an expansion. Thanks.

I finally fixed the zombies in Drox Operative so they spread like an infection. It should make them much more interesting in the next patch.

Related to one of my last posts, zombies spreading like an infection + expansion persistent stuff is going to be an interesting mix.

I don't have any immediate plans at the moment to do a DoP patch, but it's a possibility.

So when you say "boarding party/marine" type of ideas do you mean ACTUAL boarding? I.e., switching to a Din's Curse style view where you control one character inside a ship or on a planet? Because that would be incredible. I suspect that this cannot possibly be what you mean.
