If you could only get Drox on Steam I would be willing to bet it would catch up with DoP within a few months. If you got it featured on the front page in a summer or Xmas sale and could sell it in large volume for a discounted price of $4.99, it would triple or quadruple DoP I bet.

I've lost 2 hardcore ships in a row at level 18: the first to Acanth mines and the 2nd to the boss Obliterate (who is aptly named).

When playing hardcore Drox Operative, having an attack fleet destroy your escape pod, computers, and thrusters is very, very bad.

I finally got a hardcore ship above level 18 in Drox Operative and survived many escape pods. Then I died from a bounty hunter at level 22.

Bounty hunters are the only thing that can kill me, and are the reason I've stopped playing the game. Their inclusion and the fact that I've never survived an encounter with one has sapped my will to keep going.
I'm seriously hoping that the expansion or a future patch nerfs them a bit. Or a lot. I don't mind being hunted or hated--I just can't stand a no-win scenario, and that's what bounty hunters are: my own, personal Kobayashi Maru.

I added Galactic Karma to Invasion of the Ancients today. These events can greatly impact the power of the strongest or weakest race.

Tried some Hardcore + Bare Bones today in Invasion of Ancients and died at level 2. It's kind of hard.
My next one is up to lvl 7 though.
