Resetting Global Stats

Any way to do this?

I want to start a totally new game with no stats held over from previous games where I was learning the ropes & not caring about dying etc.

Can this be done?

Assuming you have the expansion, when you start a new sector you have the option over on the right side to start in a new galaxy. That resets most things.

If you want to completely start over, you could always go to your save directory and rename your chars directory. Where the chars directory is depends on your OS, but the most common place is in: C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\DroxOperative\User

Can you please give more complete instructions:

I have found the drox folder within the appdata & tried deleting all the logs but that didn't work

I have 1 folder named : chars, a user.cfg file, a console.his file & a log file.

Within the chars folder I have a Logs folder (this is what I deleted the contents of ) and lots of pwl files.

Any help would be appreciated

The easiest way is to just rename the chars directory if you want to start over with characters, sectors, and persistent galaxy stuff. The game will make a new one, empty directory.

Those pwl files are the persistent world files, so you could also just delete those.
