Bug? or i'm missing something?

I noticed something today playing which i saw once before but ignored thinking i was just confused.. lol.

Mission to find X components (parts from totems in this case) on a certain level.

I complete the mission by finding all X components - but on the dungeon level directly above the mission stated level.

Anyone else seen this?

If I remember correctly this is perfectly fine. In this case the stated level is just a known place where that monster type can be fine, but the level isn't the important part.
