Definitely one of the best things about this game was the journals. There was some really good storytelling in there, my current favourite being the imps 'little sister' story. I LOVE "Little Sister"! I took this to a workshop at a con, and the professional writer didn't telll me much in the way of changes (meaning it was well written), but he did say he'd thought I'd have a hard time selling it because it's a first contact (usually science fiction) in a fantasy setting. Of course, I wrote it for Depths of Peril, so I wasn't worried about selling it.
