Default book?

Are you planning on putting out a comprehensive printer friendly or paper version of all the stories? I would be interested in getting my hands on that as they are quite good.

We are still figuring out how to do this well but at the minimum we will include all of the doc files in the final game so that they can printed easily. Well unless we find a better way to do it.

I've been telling him this!!! Some people will want to print them to read them. You aren't the first to mention it.

yup good stuff.
fwiw one of the reasons Stories and Storyline in general doesn't rate higher in rpgs is that we all play SO MANY of them we can't keep em all straight! Of all the dozens of epic rpg's i've played over the years the only names i can think of offhand are Drizzt Do'Urden and Boo. ("Go for the eyes Boo! Go for the eyes!" )

Even Drizzt is an exception though. He was an awesome character way before he was ever in a video game

I printed them and read them. It's much easier that way. I can go and hide. If they see me at the computer all the time then they get pissy.

Definitely one of the best things about this game was the journals. There was some really good storytelling in there, my current favourite being the imps 'little sister' story. I hadn't collected all the books, but this thread made me realise I could just go and find the rest of the stories in the game files.

Great stuff - a short epilogue after beating Draaien would have been nice btw.

Can you fourth a motion? I think this one's had it's second and third.

There's some good writing floating around in the background, it'd be great to have it all conveniently collected into a novel form. Or perhaps a series of graphic novels.
