Now that I have gravity affecting items instead of an animation, it is weirdly satisfying watching them fall, bounce, and slide down slopes.

Gates are now working in Din's Champion, so there is a fast travel method again. I had to make a bunch of changes because gates can move since the world is so destructible.

I basically turned gravity on for all entities except for actors, players, and projectiles (they already had it) recently. The very first thing that happened was I put a torch on a wall so I could see what I was testing and the torch fell down a really deep hole.

Gravity now applies to objects and they can take damage if they hit the ground hard enough. This should make things like explosive barrels a bit more interesting.

Every once in a while the order I fix or implement things is determined by how annoying something is. Today my testing kept getting interrupted because the rain insisted on putting out all my torches even though I was in my enclosed crafting area. It's hard to test when I can't see.

There seems to be a pretty big controversy in the game engine world right now. This could change in the future, but today at least, I'm really glad that we use our own engine. Now I don't need to figure out whether or not a 3rd party company just screwed us.

Building structures in Din's Champion is starting to feel & look a lot cooler now that some crafted blocks are starting to get added to the game (in this case bricks and glass).
