I hit a teleport trap today in Din's Champion and it dropped me right next to the treasure chest that I was trying to get to. It's not often that traps are helpful.

I keep seeing people claim that Baldur's Gate 3 is an indie game. I've been a fan of Larian Studios since Divine Divinity, but I believe they have 400+ employees and offices in multiple countries. If that counts as indie, then indie is no longer a useful term.

I added rune crafting to Din's Champion today. It should make crafting and item enchantment slots even more interesting. The first rune is the Damage Mult Rune (Diamond + Powerstone).

There are now 65 different types of runes in Din's Champion. I'm not sure if that number will go up or down after more play testing.

I had my first NPCs get married in Din's Champion yesterday. That's much better than the ones the other day that got into a fight to the death.

I just finished overhauling enhancing items in Din's Champion. Compared to our previous games it has more strategy to it. There are more gem types, you can craft runes, you can extract gems, there is less randomness, and you have a finite amount of times you can enhance an item.

We had our first multiplayer play testing for Din's Champion yesterday. Other than some entire levels not showing up on clients and the arch-nemesis starting quests 5 times faster than expected (both fixed today), it actually went better than I expected.

We've played a few hours of Din's Champion in multiplayer now. I've added a lot of things to my todo list and already updated tons, but the really nice part is we haven't had a single crash yet while playing.

I optimized some of Din's Champion's networking code today. In a specific case I was having an issue with (a bunch of liquids flowing around), I reduced the amount of data being sent across the network by almost 64%!
