Strange thing with the next game is I currently have 3 different modes it can draw the blocks in (3d with perspective, 3d, and 2d) and right this second, 2d mode without slopes looks the best.

I improved the blending on slopes today but so far only in 2d mode. The 2d mode keeps looking better and better than the 3d versions. By 2d/3d mode, I just mean how the blocks of the world are drawn (basically square or cube).

I've started working on simulating liquids for the next game. When this type of game doesn't have water I personally really miss it.

I'm leaning towards actually going with 2d blocks instead of 3d for the next game. The 2d blocks look better and are even a bit faster.

Lava and acid liquids now do damage in the next game. So when people ask me what I've been working on lately I can say I've been adding new ways to kill the player.
