Since you can actually win or lose a world in our next game (like many of our games), I have some interesting design and programming issues to solve about what gets carried over to the next world, especially since the player can build things.

I think I have a good handle on what and how to carry things over between worlds in our next game. Now all I have to do is implement all of it.

I now carry over blocks, liquids, and gases from the old world to the new world in the next game after you win or lose the world.

In the next game, I now have the player placed blocks, objects, and NPCs carrying over to the new world after a win/loss working pretty well, at least until players do crazy things I didn't think of.

I finally got around to printing which item you just automatically picked up in our next game. It makes it so much easier to learn which blocks are which.

All of the ore textures are now in the next game. There are 17 of them (copper up to neutronium).

A few days ago I fixed a bug in the next game that gave you mining XP even if you swung at an empty block. No one would have taken advantage of that bug, would they?

This is a play testing week for me on the next game. This usually results in a ton of changes. So far, this week is not the exception.

I'm betting other programmers don't have as weird of bug lists like those that work on games. A few new ones from today: player sometimes starts standing in acid, doors block liquids, and houses don't prevent being stuck by lightning.

While trying to test storing items in chests today, an orc decided to stroll through my town destroying all of the doors in his path. It's like having kids/pets, was that really necessary?
