There are now actual races in the game. They don't do much yet except make the galaxy more interesting (system names are color coded).

Of course my first thought was "Who are you racing?"

planets now generate food, minerals, technology, and credits for inhabitants of the planet

have now planned how a lot of the race AI is going to work (scouting, colonizing, attacking, etc.)

now each of the races is sending scouts around the galaxy to learn where everything is

my wifi router that has been working fine for over a year suddenly stopped working today, nothing I did helped until I moved it up 1 inch

Weird. Could be that a neighbor installed a new wifi router competing for the same channel...?

I actually tried to manually set it to a bunch of different channels (instead of auto) and it didn't help.

it used to be entities only had to be able to path find about 50 feet in our games, now they need to find their way across the galaxy
