Default SpellDamageMult

Shadow, it occurs to me I don't know how this part of staves and daggers works. Is it a percentage of attack damage?

No, it doesn't have anything to do with the attack damage on the weapon, but the mult does go up with the item level. It is staves and wands though.

Ah ok, thanks.

So if I currently tried out to have weapons give base spell damage, and spell skill increase/decrease a percentage of that damage, I don't think that would work, right?

For example, if I have fireball do 1 damage permanently (in the skill projectile damage), and then I try to add percentages with with only PassiveDynamicStatMultFireDamage and PassiveDynamicStatMultSpellDamage, will the spell multipliers apply to the damage from the weapon as well? I'm guessing not.
