![]() Here's a small mod that speeds up the following operations for impatient types:
- Identifying items in inventory - Identifying/opening items in space (anomalies, space junk, chests etc.) - Scanning unexplored planets - Rumors, propaganda, espionage and sabotage Update 2014-04-07: Everything takes .25 seconds now, regardless of level. Place the DroxModFastOpen.zip file in your /Drox Operative/Assets/ directory. No need to unzip it. Works on existing ships and sectors. To revert back to the normal identify speed, simply remove the DroxModFastOpen.zip file from your Assets directory. Credit to desophos and his Din's Curse Smooth Sailing MOD which was the basis for this one. ![]() I've updated this mod to make all of the actions take .25 seconds, regardless of level. (Previously I had left in some level scaling as is done in vanilla.)

![]() Thank you for reminding me about this mod. Opening and researching tasks are really time-consuming on +N sector level.

![]() Really, I thought Shadow had fixed that... There's definitely no noticeable delay at +75 levels (level 100 ship at sector level 176)

![]() Yeah, there are no problems for lvl100 ships. I'm talking about lower level ships playing high-level sectors.

![]() Ah, good call. Playing at +24 (level 76 ship at level 100) is a pain without a mod. It's been a long time I've done that, though.
