Where did you hear about Soldak?

I've downloaded the DoP demo on the Apple download page, then the DC demo. Then I bought the game

I don't remember where I heard of Soldak. I've heard about it for the first time a month or tow before when Kivi's underworld first public beta was announced. I think it was mention on some other gaming forum or in a blog or something. Most likely it was a blog post of Armageddon Empires / Solium Infernum author and that post also mentioned Avernum. But it was sometime ago so I'm not sure any longer.

So to say simpler, I've heard about Soldak is the niche. I've heard about it because I was already interested in this type of things.

I impulse bought Din's on Impulse, and was impressed.

I first heard about Soldak on Bluesnews.com, I think (also saw it on RPGwatch, I'm pretty sure). I kept seeing notices for patch updates for Depths of Peril. I kept thinking: "Wow, this guy really does a good job of updating his games."

DoP didn't entirely interest me at the time, but I became more interested when reading up on Din's Curse. I waited for a while to see if it popped up on Steam, but got tired of waiting, and recently purchased via Gamersgate (been meaning to try them out anyway, seems like a cool service too). Made a Rogue, and had a fun first session sneaking around ganking orcs to fulfill my first quest from Din (picked up Stealth as my first skill, had a blast with it.).

My son. He got the demos off Apple's download site a while ago, and wanted to purchase DoP or DC when he had the money.
